St Laurence's Larder and Open Kitchen provides a warm welcome and fresh food for those who struggle to make ends meet in our community and beyond. It is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 1.30pm and people can attend without referral from other organisations.
We provide a three course meal which is typically soup, followed by a pasta dish or fish pie, and then homemade trifle or other desert. For those in desperate need we also able to provide 2 or 3 days of dried and tinned food to take away. We also act as a referral agent for the SUFRA NW London which is based on St. Raphael’s Estate, Brent’s most disadvantaged neighbourhood. SUFRA’s Community Hub provides a life-line for people in crisis – including families living in extreme poverty and people who are vulnerable, homeless and socially isolated.
In addition to food the Larder also provides hot showers and an emergency clothes bank which is available during St Laurence's Larder normal opening hours.
We welcome donations of money, food and adult clothing all year round and are grateful for all the support we receive from other charities and local shops.
St Laurence's Larder and Open Kitchen is now a registered charity 1185983.
