St Laurence's Larder provides a warm welcome and fresh food for those who struggle to make ends met in our community and beyond. It is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 1.30pm and people can attend without referral from other organisations.
We provide a three course meal which is typically soup, followed by a pasta dish or freshly made sandwiches, and then homemade trifle or other desert. For those in desperate need we also run a food bank which provides 2 or 3 days of dried and tinned food to take away. We also act as a referral agent for the SUFRA foodbank at Stonebridge. We also have an emergency clothes bank which is available during St Laurence's Larder normal opening hours. St Laurence's Larder is managed by Stephen Chamberlain who can be contacted on 07958 303737. We welcome donations of money, food and adult clothing all year round.
St Laurence’s Larder is supported by Anglican Churches in Brent Deanery; Sufra Muslim Community Food Bank 160 Pitfield Way, Stonebridge; The Felix Project; The Shirdi Sai Babe Temple, Union Road, Wembley; Wenzel’s The Bakers Watford and The Wenzel’s Wembley Central Branch; Saint Erconwald’s Church, Preston Road, Wembley; Synergy Vision 8/9 Coachwork’s, Kimberley Road, NW16 7SG; Local Schools and many Interfaith Groups.
